Hi Friends!
I pray this email finds you well!
And if it doesn't for some reason, I'm praying right now as I write this that you will know the presence of our God; He loves you and sees you, and promises never to leave you or forsake you.
It’s hard to believe another school year is drawing to a close, and this Sunday we’ll be celebrating our 2026 graduates during the 9:45 & 11:15 services. As a church family, we love recognizing and praying over students as they step into new seasons of life, work, ministry, school, and adulthood. We hope you’ll join us in encouraging them as well.
This week, we wrapped up our first year of Awana, our Discipleship Pathway, and our Men's & Women's Tuesday Bible Studies. It's been a fantastic year of growth and connection for all generations here at Friends Church!
Looking ahead to summer, we’re excited for all that’s coming:
VBS, Royal Family Kids Camp, Youth activities, Dad Camp, a new summer class with Pastor Rod (details coming soon), and planning for Year 2 of Awana and the Discipleship Pathway this fall.
As the summer season begins, don’t forget you can stay connected on those beach trips and long weekends through our livestream, Spotify and Apple Sermon Podcasts, and our message archive — all found at erfriends.com.
One more thing, how’s the “thinking like Jesus” going?
Goodness, it’s been a reset for me. I want to think, sound, act, and respond more like Jesus than I did yesterday. I want to complain less, trust more, and remember that the details of my life are truly held in the hands of my Good Father. So thankful for the lamp of His Word lighting our paths.
Will you take a minute and pray? ...for graduates, parents, and our church family as we lean in to think like Jesus...
