What a week we had celebrating Easter!
It was a full week here at Friends—pausing each day to remember the events foundational to our faith. Goodness, was it a good one!
What was your favorite? We would love to hear from you.
Good Friday is always my favorite. Taking time to consider what it cost Jesus to make the way for us reorients me to the awe and wonder of how much He loves us. I so need that.
And the Easter baptisms… sisters and couples, young ones and those new to Friends Church saying “yes” to life with Jesus. Their stories are precious to us—and one of the ways we measure what God is doing here.
And another way we see growth happening...
people growing in their understanding of the Word and wanting more.
more families committing to disciple their kids.
people stepping in to serve.
our Discipleship Pathway continuing
We are so grateful to witness God’s faithfulness through the long legacy of this church.
Looking ahead...this Sunday, we get to start a new book of The Bible together - Philippians. It's exciting to anticipate what God will do in our midst as we go through it together. I know Galatians undid some things for me in the best way.
VBS and Royal Family Kids Camp are just around the corner (scroll a bit further for more info), along with graduation season and the end of another school year!
We have so much to look forward to!

Royal Family Adult Counselor Sign-ups 2026
Royal Family KIDS serves children in hard places. These kiddos have often seen the world at its worst. Many carry trauma they didn’t ask for, and struggle to trust adults.
Through Royal Family Kids Camp, one week each summer and mentoring throughout the rest of the year, children are paired with committed adults who demonstrate the love of Jesus.
Whether you pray, give, or commit to being a counselor with Royal Family KIDS camp, you make it possible for more children to receive love and build memories that last a lifetime. Thank you!
