Hi Friends!
We are truly looking forward to Holy Week this year—it is approaching so quickly! As we anticipate the meaningful gatherings and activities ahead, we also want to gently invite each of us to pause and reflect on the deeper significance of this sacred time.
Holy Week offers a beautiful invitation into both reflection and connection. It carries us from the humility and sorrow of the cross to the joy and hope of the resurrection, reminding us of the incredible journey that leads to the victory of Jesus Christ. As Scripture says, “He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him…” (Philippians 2:8–9), and “Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning” (Psalm 30:5).
We are grateful for the opportunity to walk through this week together as a community. On Monday and Tuesday, we will gather for prayer, creating space to be still and draw near to our Savior, remembering His invitation: “Come to me… and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). On Wednesday evening, we will come together for a time of praise and reflection, lifting our hearts in worship.
On Maundy Thursday, we will share in a Seder and potluck meal—a meaningful time of fellowship as we remember the Last Supper, when Jesus said, “Do this in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:19). Then, on Good Friday, we will gather for a thoughtful time of reflection on His sacrifice, holding close the truth that “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
And it all begins with Palm Sunday, as we remember Jesus’ humble and triumphant entry, echoing the words: “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” (John 12:13).
We would love for you to join us as we journey through this sacred week together.
See you Sunday!
